The scientific-research Journal of Rock Mechanics is a quarterly journal, with the privilege of the Iranian Society for Rock Mechanics, intending to expand knowledge in this young branch of mechanical science, and is trying to promote the flourishing and advancement of this science in the best possible way. Therefore, the system of the scientific research journal of Rock Mechanics is trying to take a clear and useful step towards the flourishing of rock mechanics science by creating open access to the text of the authors' articles and inviting researchers to submit their articles and research achievements in this journal with a two-way anonymous refereeing policy. The Journal of Rock Mechanics receives strong reviews in fundamental, developmental, and applied knowledge, technical note articles, and research articles. The first language of the journal is "Persian". However, this journal also accepts articles in the second language "English". This journal follows the principles and criteria of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Therefore, when evaluating submitted articles, it uses similarity-finding software to ensure the originality of the articles.

Plagiarism Check: This journal is equipped with Sinaweb's Hamyab similarity detection software  to prevent duplicate investigations and detect plagiarism. This system, which is designed using advanced artificial intelligence and deep learning techniques, uses all available information that has been published electronically in the country as the core of similarity detection. As soon as articles are registered in the Sinaweb Journals and Conferences System, they are reviewed with the Hamyab system, and the similarity percentage along with relevant documents is provided to the journal editors and scientific reviewers for decision-making.
