Abstract
If the support is installed in the tunnel, the shape of the curve changes in the unsupported distance between the abutment and the support edge and the ultimate displacement decreases, which is a very limited research in this area. In this study, a method for drawing the LDP diagram for a supported tunnel, i.e. (SLDP), in more comprehensive conditions than previous studies is presented. For this purpose, a non-circular tunnel with a concrete lining in an elastoplastic environment for an RMR range of 40 to 70, an overburden height of 100 to 300 m, and under hydrostatic and non-hydrostatic stresses was numerically modeled using FLAC3D software. The maintenance variable parameters were its stiffness and the unsupported distance. From the data obtained from the numerical modeling, which was obtained by combining different modes of the above parameters, the longitudinal deformation profile of the supported tunnel (SLDP) was drawn, and then relations for determining SLDP were presented using statistical calculations.
